How is Handwriting Jewelry Made?
Curious about how we make your personalized jewelry? When you submit your handwriting sample, we first go to work creating a digital copy of your loved one's handwriting.
The first step in the process is to lighten up the background and darken the handwriting. We also remove anything in the sample that isn't meant for engraving - such as extra text or lines from a sheet of paper.
Next, we "trace" the handwriting using software called Adobe Illustrator. This prepares the final image for our engraving machine. During this stage, we may rearrange the text a bit to find the very best fit on the charm.
Finally, we open up the digitally created image in our engraving software, where it is sent to our laser engraver to complete the process.
The last few steps involve doing a quality check to ensure that the engraving is perfect, and adding the charm to your desired jewelry, whether that is a necklace chain, keyring or bracelet.
